Match preview: Norwich City U23s v Fulham U23s

It’s the second of back-to-back home games for Norwich City U23s as they take on Fulham at the Walks stadium this Friday (7pm).

Ahead of the game, we’ve taken a look at the Cottagers so far this season, and how you can watch the U23s in action live at the home of King’s Lynn Town.

The opposition

It’s a top of the table clash at the Walks on Friday, as the young Canaries face Fulham in what could be their toughest game in the 2021/2022 campaign.

Taking 13 from a possible 18 points, it’s been a near flawless season so far for Fulham, having only been denied two wins in six games.

Racking up them 13 points through four wins, one draw and one loss, it’s been a dominant campaign for the Cottagers, taking their one and only loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Fulham last played Newcastle United in a home clash at Motspur Park, with three second half goals giving this Friday’s visitors a 3-1 win over the Magpies.

The Cottagers were top of the table for most part of the season, before Aston Villa toppled them on goal difference to take the top spot.

Meanwhile, the young Canaries will be looking to put a few wrongs right against Fulham after their recent 5-2 loss to West Bromwich Albion.

Despite the loss, City are fifth in the Premier League 2 table with ten points, just one win Villa and Fulham going into this fixture.
