Norwich City Under-21s host Middlesbrough at the Lotus Training Centre in the Premier League 2 on Friday night, hoping to bounce back from their Premier League Cup exit to Chelsea on Monday.
Alan Neilson's side fell to a 3-2 defeat away to Chelsea at Kingsmeadow.
Liam Gibbs and Errol Mundle-Smith scored for the Canaries as they came from two goals down to draw level, before a late winner sent the Blues through to the quarter-finals.
It's a first league outing for Norwich since the 3-3 draw at home to Fulham, where Pedro Lima and Joe Duffy scored late to earn a point.
The Canaries are still searching for their first league win of the calendar year, and will hope to put an end to the disappointing run of form as they host Middlesbrough.
Boro currently sit 13th place in the PL2, one place and one point above Norwich. Like Norwich, Boro have also had a disappointing start to 2024, also searching for their first league win of the new year.
They come into this fixture on the back of four straight defeats, losing to Arsenal, West Bromwich Albion, Aston Villa and Chelsea.
