Norwich City Under-21s end their PL2 campaign with a fixture against Southampton at Carrow Road on Sunday afternoon.
Defeat to Newcastle United on Monday means a play-off place is out of the Canaries' hands, and they require results to go in their favour.
Only a victory against the Saints will give Alan Neilson and the Under-21s hope of reaching the play-offs, with other fixtures to be played.
They face a Southampton side still in contention for the PL2 Division 2 title, where they currently sit in second place.
Currently level on points with leaders Leeds United, the Saints have played one game more than the Whites.
Back in August, the game's reverse fixture ended as a 1-1 draw. Jake Vokins opened the scoring at The Snows Stadium, before Abu Kamara netted a late equaliser for Norwich.
