Norwich City return to Carrow Road on Wednesday evening to take on Bristol City in a 7.45pm kick-off.
The Canaries’ league position and points remain unchanged following last weekend’s postponement of all EFL football matches.
In memory of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II there will be a minute’s silence followed by the national anthem. All players and coaching staff will also be wearing black armbands.
The opposition
Bristol City started their season in a similar fashion to Norwich, having only picked up one point in their first three fixtures.
Their first league victory of the campaign came against Luton Town in a 2-0 win at Ashton Gate. Following the win, the Reds then found their pace in the league and claimed three points against Cardiff City (2-0), Huddersfield Town (2-0) and Blackburn Rovers (2-3).
Blackpool held them to a 3-3 draw at Bloomfield Road and their fixture last weekend against Preston was postponed.
In the Carabao Cup, the Robins advanced through to the third round after a 4-1 win over Coventry and a 3-1 win over Wycombe. They face Lincoln City in round three in November.
Those results put them fourth in the table, two points behind Norwich in second.
Head-to-head
In 74 meetings between the two sides, the Yellows have claimed victory 36 times, with 20 wins for the Reds and 18 fixtures ending in draws.
Last time Bristol came to Carrow Road, Jordan Hugill’s brace saw the Canaries claim all three points in a 2-0 win back in January 2021.

David Webb will take charge of Wednesday night’s match, with Nigel Lugg and Rob Smith as his assistants. Sunny Gill will be the fourth official.
