The Canaries began 2025 on a winning note, with Marcelino Núñez scoring the winner away to Luton Town in a 1-0 win at Kenilworth Road. Back in August, Norwich finished as 1-0 winners at the Coventry Building Society Arena courtesy of Borja Sainz's goal. **The Opposition** Sitting in 14th place in the Championship, the Sky Blues have had mixed fortunes so far this season and saw the departure of Mark Robins. Frank Lampard replaced Robins at the helm and come into this game on the back of a 1-1 draw away to Cardiff City on New Year's Day. Coventry are unbeaten in their last three league outings, having previously drawn with Millwall and claiming a win at home to Plymouth Argyle. **The Manager
*Frank Lampard*** After a decorated career as a player, playing over 900 senior professional games and winning 11 major honours, Frank Lampard entered management with Derby County in 2018. After guiding them to the play-off final that year, he was then appointed by Chelsea in July 2019 where he would spend 18 months in charge. From January 2022 to January 2023, he was in charge at Everton before a second stint at Chelsea as caretaker. He replaced Mark Robins at Coventry late in November.

Celebration of Life

Norwich City v Coventry City has been designated as out inaugural 'Celebration of Life' fixture, where we will acknowledge members of the Norwich City community who have passed in the previous year.

A minute's applause will be held before kick-off while the club will also host a memorial service at Carrow Road early on the day of the game.
