Norwich City Women are back in action at The Nest for the first time in 2024 as they host Actonians Ladies in a Division One South East fixture.

Following the abandonment of City's most recent fixture against Cambridge United and cancellation of the match against London Seaward, this will be the first match for the Canaries since mid-December.

Martin Herdman's side remain unbeaten in all league fixtures and currently sit six points off top spot, with two games in hand.

The opposition

The As have accumulated five wins, two draws and five losses this season, taking all three points from Cambridge City on two occasions, Chesham United, QPR and most recently Ashford Town.

They fell short in their matches against London Seaward, Cambridge United, Worthing, AFC Wimbledon and in the reverse of Sunday's fixture over at Rectory Park.

Last time out

In the last meeting between Norwich City and Actonians, the Canaries were victorious in a formidable 5-1 win at the home of the Blues.

Megan Todd put the visitors ahead after four minutes but it took just two minutes for Williamson to find an equaliser.

The lead was restored through Lauren Tomlinson later in the first half and Todd extended the lead in injury time from the spot. The second half saw Olivia Cook make it 4-1 and Katie Knights finished the job in injury time to make it five for the Canaries.

Head to head

These two sides have met a total of 13 times since 2018, with four wins for the Canaries, no draws and nine wins for the Blues.
