Norwich City Women's next outing in Division One South East will take place at Carrow Road against QPR Women on Sunday afternoon (KO 2pm).
Scott Emmerson's side will be hoping to build on their impressive unbeaten league form, whilst also bouncing back from their 1-1 draw against Worthing earlier in the month.
That point keeps Norwich second with 34 points, eight off AFC Wimbledon at the top of the table, but with two games in hand on the leaders.
Last weekend also saw the Canaries book their place in the Harrod Sport Women's Cup final, after beating Mulbarton Wanderers 7-0 at The Nest.
The opposition
Steve Quashie’s side occupy fourth in the Division One South East table with 31 points, three behind Norwich City.
In an exciting season for the Rs, they have claimed 10 wins, one draw and five losses across 2023/24 so far.
Their five most recent results saw them take three points away from Cambridge United (3-0), Cambridge City (2-1) and Haywards Heath (4-0), a 7-2 loss to leaders AFC Wimbledon whilst settling for a point against Worthing in a 1-1 draw.
Top-scorer Grace Stanley has been enjoying her season, having netted 18 times for the Rs in this campaign.
Last time out
These two sides met back in October earlier this season, when the Canaries ran out 2-1 winners at Loftus Road.
QPR's top striker, Stanley, put the hosts ahead inside 15 minutes but shortly afterwards goalkeeper Mya Francis-Pownall was shown a red card, leaving the hosts down to 10.
It took all of five minutes for Megan Todd to find an equaliser and then Ellie Smith grabbed the winner with 25 minutes left on the clock.
Head to head
The two teams have met a total of five times since 2021, with three wins for the Canaries, no draws and two wins for the Blues.
