For the last time in 2024, Norwich City are on the road in the Sky Bet Championship, taking on Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Saturday, December 21 (KO 3pm).
City suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to Burnley in their last outing, José Córdoba's early header giving Norwich a half-time lead. However, Zian Flemming and Josh Brownhill goals midway through the second half would see it sway in Burnley's direction.
That result leaves City 12th in the Championship with 26 points from the opening 21 games.
**The Opposition**
The Black Cats have enjoyed a very strong start to the season and currently sit fourth in the standings.
They've lost just once in their last 14 games, a 1-0 defeat at table-toppers Sheffield United.
Midfield duo Jobe Bellingham and Chris Rigg have been two of their top performers, ably supported by the likes of Romaine Mundle, Dennis Cirkin and Trai Hume.
