With two defeats since returning from the international break, Norwich will be hoping to jump back up the Sky Bet Championship with a win on Wearside. The most recent outing for David Wagner's men saw them fall to a 2-1 defeat against Middlesbrough at Carrow Road. **The Opposition** It's been a mixed start to the season for Sunderland - a difficult August with one win in four was followed by five wins in six. Jack Clarke** Winger Jack Clarke joined Sunderland in July 2022 and has quickly made himself an integral part of Tony Mowbray's set-up. The 22-year-old played 50 games for the Black Cats last season, scoring 11 goals and tormenting defences throughout. This year, he has upped it another level, already scoring eight goals in 13 Championship appearances.

He ended up guiding the newly-promoted Sunderland to a finish in the play-off places where they lost in the semi-final stage to eventual winners Luton Town. His previous managerial roles include Ipswich Town (caretaker), Hibernian, West Brom, Celtic, Middlesbrough, Coventry City and Blackburn Rovers. **Last Time Out** The Canaries' last trip to the Stadium of Light came in late-August 2022. Anthony Backhouse has been appointed as the referee for Saturday where he will be supported by assistant referees Paul Hodskinson and Blake Antrobus. The fourth official will be Simon Mather.
