Norwich City’s Under 18s travel to Enfield Training Ground to face Tottenham Hotspur’s Under 18s at 12pm on Friday in the Under 18s Premier League South.
The Canaries conceded late in Saturday’s match against Fulham which meant that they fell to a 2-1 defeat, seeing them remaining bottom of the league with seven points from 22 matches.
With just four games to go, City’s Under 18s coach Greg Crane is hoping to finish the season strongly.
“It’s really important for me that they’re taking everything that we’ve done during the season and we see improvements and what we’ve been trying to work on all year is implemented in these last four games," he said.
“What they do in these will leave an impression on the off season, so I’m expecting people to continue some of the good work in recent months that we’ve been doing.
“It will be an interesting last four games for the individuals and I’m really interested to see how people react, what they do and how they perform.”
Meanwhile Spurs sit in ninth position on 24 points and have won their last two matches, beating at the time league leaders West Ham United away from home on Saturday 5-3.
Canaries forward Ken Aboh will be looking to continue his good form having scored six goals in his last five matches for Crane’s side.
Norwich and Spurs are yet to face each other this season with the two games between the sides coming within the next three weeks, Crane relishing the upcoming challenges against the North London side.
“Tottenham as a club like to have technical players who get on the ball and play," he said. "They can all handle the ball and like the one-v-one situations.
“We know they’ve got some good players but so have we, so it’s really important that we’re on the front foot and go into every game trying to win it, playing the right way and doing the right things.
“I’m really looking forward to it because we play them twice in the space of three weeks, so it will be good for the lads to see how they perform.”
