Norwich City Women are in cup action next week, as they take on Wroxham Women in the final of the Harrod Sport Women's County Cup at Carrow Road.
The final takes place on Monday, May 13, in a 7.30pm kick-off and will be the Canaries' last action of the 2023/24 season. Tickets available HERE.
Norwich City will be hoping to retain their title as champions of Norfolk, having picked up the trophy in 2022/23, thanks to a 3-0 win at Carrow Road with goals from Ceri Flye, Katie Knights and Olivia Cook.
The Opposition
Wroxham currently sit one tier below Norwich in the league pyramid, playing their football in the Eastern Region Women's Premier Division.
The Yachtswomen have had a successful league campaign, finding themselves in fifth place on 37 points, with two games to go. Two wins and some results elsewhere in their favour could mean they finish as high as third.
Wroxham's road to the Harrod Sport Women's Cup final has been plain sailing, much like that of the Canaries, with a 7-0 win over Caister in the quarter final and a 6-0 win over Fakenham Town in the semis.
Last Time Out
These two sides last met in a pre-season friendly at the start of the 2023/24 campaign, where new signing Shannon Shaw made her impression, netting twice in a 2-0 win.
