Norwich City fell to defeat in their penultimate away fixture of the 2024/25 Sky Bet Championship season on Easter Monday, losing 3-1 against Millwall.

Johannes Hoff Thorup made three changes to the side that fell to defeat against Portsmouth on Friday, with Vicente Reyes, Jack Stacey and Emiliano Marcondes making starts.

There was also a spot amongst the substitutes for Dylan Jones, who arrived at the club in January from Plymouth Parkway.

Millwall would go in front just before the 10-minute mark. Femi Azeez fired across goal, which was diverted beyond Reyes into the back of the net by Mihailo Ivanovic.

It took until after the half-hour mark for the next shot on goal, with Norwich registering their opportunity as Josh Sargent's curled effort was wide of the post.

The home side doubled their lead through Azeez, who got his head onto a free-kick that was crossed into the Norwich area.

But just before half-time, the Canaries pulled one back. A corner was met by Shane Duffy, who headed in as Norwich went into the break a goal behind.

George Saville had the first chance in the second half, firing wide of the post after combining with Ivanovic.

Kenny McLean would make a superb block to deny Luke Cundle from adding a third for the home side, before Tristan Crama headed wide.

Millwall thought they had added a third goal as they headed in from a free-kick, but it was flagged offside.

But moments later, the home side found their third goal of the afternoon as Ivanvic rose highest from a corner to score.

The Canaries play their final away game of the 2024/25 Championship season on Saturday, as they travel away to Middlesbrough (KO 3pm).
