Norwich City fell to a 2-0 defeat at home to Bristol City in the Sky Bet Championship, ending the Canaries' year-long unbeaten run at Carrow Road.
Johannes Hoff Thorup made one change to the side that were beaten away to Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday night, with the returning Anis Ben Slimane coming in for Kaide Gordon.
Emiliano Marcondes almost nudged Norwich ahead after five minutes, as he got on the end of Callum Doyle's ball forward. His header hit the post, before being cleared for a corner.
It would be the away side who took the lead. Anis Mehmeti was allowed to come forward and get a shot off, which beat George Long and found the bottom corner.
Doyle forced Bristol City goalkeeper Max O'Leary into saving with his feet, as the Canaries went in search of a leveller.
Ante Crnac had the first chance in the second half for either side, with his strike from distance being held well by O'Leary.
Bristol City doubled their lead just after the hour mark. Jason Knight surged forward and found Nahki Wells, who fired beyond Long.
Shane Duffy rose highest from a Marcondes corner, but his header clipped the crossbar and went out for a goal-kick, as the Canaries would fail to find a route back into the game.
The Canaries return to Championship action after the international break, travelling to the Hawthorns to face West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, November 23 (KO 3pm).
