Philippe Clement's side were forced to settle for a point against Swansea, on an afternoon where both sides were awarded penalties.
Anis Ben Slimane was recalled to the starting eleven as Philippe Clement named just one change to the side that beat Derby County on Tuesday night, with Amankwah Forson making way.

City’s first opportunity came in the 8th minute, when Mohamed Touré saw his free-kick from the edge of the area saved by Lawrence Vigouroux.
The forward was again thwarted by the Swans’ stopper five minutes later, with the Chilean international getting down well to push Touré’s effort wide.
The visitors first opportunity came mid-way through the first 45 when a loose ball from Vladan Kovačević fell to Gonçalo Franco, however the Portuguese midfielder’s effort was blocked by an outstretched Harry Darling.
Paris Maghoma became the latest to be denied by Vigouroux in the 35th minute after a flowing City counterattack ended with the January signing being found in the area.
Clement’s side continued to push for the opener as the first half drew to a conclusion, with both José Córdoba and Maghoma seeing efforts flash across goal.
The visitors took the lead just six minutes after the restart after being awarded a penalty. After being brought down, Žan Vipotnik – the league’s top scorer – stepped up to convert the spot kick.
Ali Ahmed was introduced on the hour mark as Philippe Clement’s side pushed for an equaliser.
After good work from Pelle Mattsson in the 75th minute, the Dan worked the ball to Touré, however the striker’s cross evaded everyone in the area and the visitors were able to clear.
Both Jacob Wright and Mathias Kvistgaarden were introduced 13 minutes from time as the Canaries looked for a way to break down a stubborn Swansea defence.
The Canaries were awarded their own penalty on 80 minutes when Vigouroux collided with Mathias Kvistgaarden inside the six-yard-box.
Norwich City’s Player of the Season, Kenny McLean, marked the occasion by sending the Swans’ stopper the wrong way to level the scores – the midfielder’s third of the season.
Now pushing for the winner, McLean – who had ran from inside his own half – almost found the net again with three minutes left to play of the 90, however the midfielder was excellently denied by Vigouroux.
Despite seven minutes added time being played and City dominating the ball, the Canaries were unable to find a winner and were forced to settle for a point.
The Canaries are back in action next Saturday for the final time this season as they travel to Yorkshire to face Hull City at the MKM Stadium (12.30pm KO).
