Jovon Makama scored twice as Norwich City claimed a 2-1 win at home to Southampton in the Sky Bet Championship.
Ben Chrisene returned to make his first start since since September, while Harry Darling partnered Ruairi McConville in defence after missing Tuesday night's draw at Sheffield United.
Leo Scienza nearly opened the scoring inside two minutes as his free-kick hit the bar, before Flynn Downes' headed follow-up was tame and claimed by Vladan Kovačević.
A quick break from Norwich saw Makama find Jacob Wright on the edge of the area, but his shot was deflected wide for a corner.
Southampton had the opportunity to open the scoring from the penalty spot after Scienza was felled, but Kovačević guessed right and saved Adam Armstrong's penalty.
Armstrong threatened again for the Saints, this time seeing his shot hit the side-netting.
The Canaries had chances of their own, as Oscar Schwartau found Makama with a pass into the box, but the eventual shot was over Gavin Bazunu's crossbar.
Scienza was behind the next chance of the game, as the Brazilian's fired effort was wide of the post.
After a goalless first half, the deadlock was broken three minutes into the second. Wright's whipped cross into the box was met by Makama, who nudged it beyond Bazunu.
However, the lead didn't last long. Ryan Manning found the bottom corner from long range to equalise for the away side.
The goals kept coming at Carrow Road, as Makama netted his and Norwich's second goal only five minutes later. Wright's cross was headed on by Darling, with Makama bundling the ball over the line.
Norwich were able to hold on for all three points at Carrow Road.
The Canaries travel to Deepdale next weekend for their final game before Christmas, taking on Preston North End.
