Norwich City had to settle for a point in their first home Sky Bet Championship fixture of the season, as they drew 2-2 against Blackburn Rovers at Carrow Road.
Ryan Hedges gave the away side the lead in the first half, before second half goals from Josh Sargent and Borja Sainz put the Canaries ahead.
The points would be shared, however, as substitute Yuki Ohashi headed in a late equaliser.
There was a competitive debut for Ben Chrisene after his summer move from Aston Villa, with youngster Gabe Forsyth also earning his first start after featuring in the first two games under Johannes Hoff Thorup from the bench.
José Córdoba was named on the bench for the first time this season, along with Elliot Myles who netted twice the night before for the Under-21s as they won 6-1 against West Bromwich Albion.
The game's first chance fell to Norwich. Marcelino Núñez went short to Sainz from a corner, whose venomous effort was just over the crossbar.
Sargent came within inches of the opener just after the 10-minute mark. The American dispossessed a defender before seeing his shot go just wide of the post.
Moments later, Sargent came close again. The striker met Núñez's corner brilliantly, seeing his header hit the crossbar with Blackburn eventually clearing their lines.
But despite Norwich's early chances, it would be Blackburn who went in front. Makhtar Gueye fed Hedges, who lifted the ball over Angus Gunn to score.
Forsyth almost marked his first start with a fantastic strike from distance, as Norwich went in search of a route back into the game. The Scotsman's effort looked destined for the top corner, but for a strong hand from Blackburn goalkeeper Aynsley Pears.
High pressing from Sainz won the ball virtually on the by-line. The Spaniard did pick out Sargent, but his effort was blocked well by Sondre Tronstad.
But the Canaries would go in to the break behind.
An improvised flick from Sainz was the first chance of the second half, with the effort only finding the side-netting.
Panama international Córdoba made his competitive debut for the club just before the hour mark, replacing fellow debutant Chrisene.
Norwich were level 20 minutes into the second half. Callum Doyle, now at left-back, dispossessed a Blackburn player and found Sargent with a ball forward. The American fired into the top corner, giving Pears no chance at his near post.
The turnaround was complete less than 10 minutes later. A free-flowing move saw Sargent and Núñez combine well, with the American putting a ball across goal for Sainz to tap in.
Shane Duffy made a good connection from a Núñez corner, but his header was off target.
There would be an equaliser for the away side two minutes from normal time, as Ohashi headed beyond Gunn from Callum Brittain's cross.
But neither side found a winner, as the points were shared.
The Canaries are back at Carrow Road next weekend, as they host Sheffield United (KO 3pm).
