Norwich City secured their first home league win of the season in emphatic fashion, beating Watford 4-1 at Carrow Road.
Callum Doyle, Borja Sainz, Marcelino Núñez and Ben Chrisene were all on the scoresheet for the Canaries under the Norfolk sun.
Head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup made three changes to the side that lost 1-0 to Swansea last week, introducing José Córdoba to the starting 11 for his first league start.
City set the tone for what was to come by creating a chance inside 90 seconds. However, Daniel Bachmann was able to prevent Josh Sargent from finding the net.
Shortly after though, the Canaries had their lead as Doyle fired an effort from outside the area out of the reach of the Watford stopper.
The ball was in the back of the net for a second time inside 25 minutes, this time by Sainz, but the excellent ball through the Watford defence from Oscar Schwartau had found the Spaniard in an offside position.
An equaliser came next, as Watford's dangerous attack started with Rocco Vata rattling the post and Ryan Andrews following up with a low volley across Angus Gunn.
The Hornets thought they had almost found a lead shortly after, as a scramble in the box ended in a close-range miss from Daniel Jebbison.
Just seconds before injury time of the first half concluded, a perfect pass from Kenny McLean reached Sainz on a forward charge, who regained City's lead with a curling shot around substitute 'keeper Jonathan Bond.
There would be a change of referee for the second half due to an injury, causing a slight delay. It didn't upset City though who immediately came out on the front foot.
Ante Crnac struck a low shot after a break down the right but his effort was tipped away by Bond for a City corner. Duffy got on the end of the resulting corner but the centre-back's header ended up on top of the net.
City extended the lead in the 54th minute, after an expertly placed pass from Doyle arrived at the feet of Núñez, who hit it first time and netted the Canaries' third.
Things could have gotten worse for the visitors as Sargent broke free in a dangerous position to shoot, but rolled his shot just wide.
In the final minutes of the game, a well worked play from City ended in a clever flick from substitute Chrisene from close range for the fourth and final goal of the match.
