Norwich City returned to winning ways in emphatic fashion, beating Stoke City 4-2 at Carrow Road in the Sky Bet Championship.
José Córdoba was named in Johannes Hoff Thorup's starting line-up in NR1, replacing the suspended Callum Doyle. Lewis Dobbin was also given a start, with January arrival Matěj Jurásek missing through injury.
The away side would threaten inside the first minute, as Lewis Baker met a cross but saw his header spin wide.
Norwich then had an opportunity of their own. Borja Sainz surged forward and found Marcelino Núñez, but the Chilean's effort was narrowly wide of the post.
Núñez came close once again for the Canaries, seeing his free-kick flash just wide of Viktor Johansson's post.
The Norwich chances continued to come, with Kellen Fisher registering the next opportunity but the right-back couldn't find the target.
Lewis Dobbin was next to come close for City, meeting Núñez's cross but the Aston Villa loanee's header went wide.
And the Norwich threat would eventually lead to the opener, just after the half-hour mark. Núñez split the Stoke defence with a ball forward and Dobbin made his way into the box before finding the bottom corner with a fine finish.
The Canaries then went in search of a goal to double their lead and almost found it, as Sainz squeezed his way through a couple of markers before getting a shot away. His effort was stopped by Johansson, however.
But the two sides would go into half-time level, as Baker was found in the area and put the ball beyond Angus Gunn to equalise.
Three minutes into the second half, Norwich went back in front. Half-time substitute Ante Crnac was played through and was seemingly fouled, before Josh Sargent picked up the ball and finished past Johansson.
Lucien Mahovo came close to adding a Norwich third, seeing his volleyed effort palmed wide by the Stoke goalkeeper.
Baker would put the ball in the back of the net for Stoke, but the linesman would rule his goal out for offside. And seconds later, Michael Rose almost diverted a cross beyond his own goalkeeper.
Sargent would add the third goal for Norwich in superb fashion. The American picked the ball up and found the top corner with a thunderous left-footed finish.
Mahovo was behind the fourth goal for Norwich. His effort took a massive deflection from Junior Tchamadeu and looped over Johansson.
Ruairi McConville was introduced as a substitute with just less than 10 minutes remaining, replacing Mahovo as he made his debut for the Canaries.
Late on, Stoke were awarded a penalty. Baker stepped up to take it and scored from the spot but it was too little, too late for the Potters.
The Canaries are back on the road next week, as they travel to Ewood Park to face Blackburn Rovers in another Championship clash (KO 12.30pm).
