Norwich City collected all three points on Boxing Day in a 1-0 win over Charlton Athletic at Carrow Road, thanks to a second-half goal from Jovon Makama.
The forward netted his fourth goal in three games, finding the eventual winner in the 61st minute.
Philippe Clement made two changes to his side that picked up a point away to Preston last weekend; Matej Jurásek in for Amankwah Forson and Anis Ben Slimane making his first start for the Canaries this season in place of Jacob Wright.
The first clear-cut chance fell City's way, Makama chesting the ball nicely to Kenny McLean on the edge of the area, but his volley was parried away by Charlton's Thomas Kaminski.
Another Norwich attack saw Makama then hit the post inside 15 minutes.
A cross from Ben Chrisene was heading Makama's way after 20 minutes played, but the left-back could only find the hands of Kaminski.
McLean's corner later found Ruairi McConville just after the half-hour mark who was able to spin and take a shot at goal but fired high over the bar.
A hugely important save from the visitor's stopper denied Jurásek the opener with just five minutes until the half-time whistle.
The second half opened with an early free-kick for Charlton, taken by James Bree and fired straight into the yellow wall.
Clement's half-time substitutes made an immediate impact for the Canaries, Jacob Wright pushing Makama forward, who managed to send the ball across goal but no Canaries could get on the end of the cross.
The lead was eventually taken on the hour as Makama collected a ball in from Wright and fired past Kaminski in front of the Barclay.
With 10 minutes to play, City had begun to find their stride, Wright setting up Oscar Schwartau this time who was denied by a Kaminski punch out of the area.
A perfectly-placed ball from McLean found Stacey in acres of space down the left, but the substitute's cross had a little too much on it to meet either of Tony Springett or Mathias Kvistagaarden in the area.
Makama's goal was enough to hold onto all three points in the Sky Bet Championship for the Canaries, keeping Clement's home record unbeaten since joining the Canaries.
