Norwich City made it two home wins in a week after claiming a 4-2 victory over Luton Town in the Sky Bet Championship.

Johannes Hoff Thorup made two changes to the side that were 6-1 winners over Plymouth Argyle in midweek, with Kellen Fisher and Anis Ben Slimane earning starts. Marcelino Núñez also returned to the bench.

The game's first shot fell to the away side, as Jacob Brown put an effort wide of Angus Gunn's posts.

Norwich's first opportunity came a few moments later as Borja Sainz could only find the side-netting with his shot.

Callum Doyle and Jack Stacey both produced two pieces of excellent defending, denying two Luton efforts from troubling Gunn's goal.

It would be the away side who took the lead. Slimane's pass was intercepted and fell into Elijah Adebayo's path and the Luton striker rounded Gunn to score.

But the Canaries wouldn't be behind for long. Slimane's cross caused havoc in the Luton area, leading to Ante Crnac flicking the ball away from his marker and volleying beyond Thomas Kaminski to equalise.

Crnac added his and Norwich's second of the game eight minutes later. Shane Duffy's ball forward looked to be heading out for a goal-kick, but Stacey did brilliantly to keep it alive and find Crnac in the area to score.

There was almost a third goal before half-time as Emiliano Marcondes sent a corner to the back post where Duffy's header needed to be tipped wide by Kaminski.

Luton found an equaliser three minutes into the second half. Norwich failed to clear their lines from a corner and Brown found the corner from close range.

After a period of quiet in the second half, Norwich took the lead with 10 minutes to go. Crnac's touch got him beyond a defender before he squared the ball to Marcondes who tapped into an empty goal.

Five minutes later, Borja Sainz was on the scoresheet and Norwich had a fourth and would finish the game as comfortable winners.

The Canaries are back on their travels next weekend, with an away fixture against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday, December 7 (KO 3pm).
