Norwich City fell to a 3-0 defeat away to Queens Park Rangers in the Sky Bet Championship on Saturday afternoon.
Rayan Kolli scored twice with Jimmy Dunne also on the scoresheet for the hosts in W12.
Marcelino Núñez made his return to Johannes Hoff Thorup's starting line-up, having featured from the bench against Luton Town last weekend. José Córdoba was also named on the bench, with the Panama international also returning from injury.
QPR would take the lead with the first opportunity on goal just after the 20-minute mark as Dunne fired in from close range with a corner causing chaos in the City area.
Norwich's first chance of the game arrived as Jack Stacey and Anis Ben Slimane combined well, but the latter's shot was over Paul Nardi's crossbar.
Angus Gunn had to react to a cross from Kenneth Paal that nearly snuck in at the goalkeeper's near post, palming the ball away for a corner.
A Núñez free-kick was met by the head of Ante Crnac, with the effort needing to be pushed over the crossbar by Nardi.
Just before half-time, the home side doubled their lead as Kolli headed beyond Gunn from a free-kick.
Borja Sainz did put the ball in the back of the net three minutes into the second half, but the Spaniard's strike was ruled out for offside.
QPR added a third goal as Kolli latched onto a defensive error before surging forward and firing into the bottom corner.
Kolli came within inches of completing his hat-trick as he bent an effort just wide of the post.
Despite Crnac also having an incorrectly disallowed goal and claims for an obvious handball waved away, there wouldn't be a route back into the game for the Canaries, as QPR finished as routine winners.
The Canaries are in action midweek, as they travel to face Portsmouth at Fratton Park in another Championship clash on Tuesday, December 10 (KO 7.45pm).
