The Seagulls took the lead when Bailey Smith found Billie Clark in the 36th minute before Zak Emmerson made it 2-0 from the spot early in the second half.

But City responded with a penalty of their own, Kenny Coker stepping up to pull one back in the 55th minute.

Eight minutes later, Kenneth Aboh found an equalising goal and then netted his brace in the 84th minute to give City the 3-2 lead.

He was assisted by Joe Duffy, who also got the assist for Flynn Clarke in Friday night's 1-1 draw for the Under-23s against Sunderland.
