It's been a promising start to 2025 so far for City with the maximum six points picked up from their two Sky Bet Championship fixtures. A New Year's Day win at Kenilworth Road was followed by a dramatic late win against Coventry City. **The Opposition** After a sixth place finish in the Premier League in 2022/23, Brighton went on a European run for the first time in their history last season. They won a group that featured Marseille, Ajax and AEK Athens before losing to AS Roma in the round of 16 - while also managing to finish 11th in the Premier League. *Fabian Hürzeler*** After Roberto de Zerbi left to join Marseille at the end of last season, Brighton turned to Fabian Hürzeler who had just got St Pauli promoted to the Bundesliga for the first time since 2010/11. The former Bayern Munich academy player is still just 31 years old, the youngest head coach in Premier League history, having moved down the ranks aged 23 to take the player/head coach role at FC Pipinsried. He initially joined St Pauli as an assistant coach in 2020 before taking over the top job when Timo Schultz was dismissed.
