In midweek, City suffered late heartbreak as Oxford equalised six minutes into injury time, denying Philippe Clement his first win as head coach and Norwich their first win at home this season.
QPR, meanwhile, picked up three points at Ewood Park thanks to a goal from Paul Smyth. They now sit in 12th with 25 points from their opening 17 league fixtures.
