City were held to a 1-1 draw by Oxford United on Friday night but will be hoping for an improved result against Wednesday.
It leaves the Canaries 10th in the Sky Bet Championship with 10 games remaining, six points off West Brom in the final play-off spot.
The Opposition
The Owls come to Carrow Road three places, but just a single point, behind City in the table.
They will have been pleased with their season so far, looking like they have already secured a third consecutive year in the second tier.
A 3-0 win away to Plymouth Argyle on Saturday brought an end to a three-game losing streak.
