McLean, Hanley and Gunn named in Scotland squad for European Championships

Steve Clarke's side are in Group A of the tournament, alongside Germany, Hungary and Switzerland, and kick off the competition against the hosts on Friday evening.

Scotland's final fixture before the tournament saw them draw 2-2 against Finland, with Gunn and Hanley both starting at Hampden Park.

Prior to that, Hanley and McLean started in their 2-0 win over Gibraltar.

Kellen Fisher, Brad Hills and Abu Kamara all made their England debuts this week, featuring for the Men's Elite Squad (formerly Under-20s) in a friendly win over Sweden.

Fisher and Kamara started the fixture, with Hills being introduced as a subtitute in the second half.

New signing José Córdoba played the entirety of Panama's 2026 World Cup qualifying win against Guyana, starting in the back three.

They play against Montserrat in another qualifier in the early hours of Monday morning.

Tony Springett was an unused sub for the Republic of Ireland's Under-21s side, but could face his Norwich teammates in Fisher, Kamara and Hills in their next fixture.
