Kenny McLean has won the supporter vote to be named as the Norwich City player of the season for 2025/26.
The midfielder joins an elite list of Norwich City players to have won the Barry Butler Memorial Trophy on multiple occasions, having also won it in 2023/24, becoming only the ninth player to do so.
The Scottish international has featured 45 times for the Canaries this season, surpassing 300 appearances in yellow and green in March's FA Cup defeat at Elland Road.
McLean’s three goals this season have all come at Carrow Road, with two earning him the Goal of the Month award in February and March, respectively. The first arrived against Birmingham City, before he followed it up with a free-kick against in the Canaries’ 2-0 win against Preston North End. McLean's latest came in Saturday's draw against Swansea City.
On winning his second Barry Butler Memorial Trophy, McLean said: "Getting voted from the fans, it's special.
“I wish I could have done more with the season, and I wish I could have took us a bit further, but we just gave ourselves a little bit too much to do.
“I appreciate all the support I've been getting all season.
“It's obviously a very prestigious award that's been won by some legends at the football club throughout the years."
The award was formally presented to McLean ahead of kick-off against Swansea City by Neil Adams.
Pelle Mattsson finished in second in the voting, with Kellen Fisher coming third.
