Norwich City Women are delighted to announce the return of Megan Todd to the club as assistant coach.
The former player will join Perry Northeast's coaching team on a part-time basis alongside goalkeeping and assistant coach, Hugh McCluskie.
After retiring from football at the end of the 2024/25 season, Todd started working with the FA as a coach developer, supporting coaches working in the female game and in the talent pathway.
She also worked part-time as the UEA's women's head coach alongside her role at the FA during this year.
During her playing career with the Canaries, she was part of the Community Sports Foundation as girls' and women's football development manager.
On her new role at the club, Todd said: "I am super excited to be back and part of the journey.
"I’ve been away from the club for a year and missed it loads, so now I’m back within the coaching staff to support the club on their next chapter in Tier 3.
"I’ll obviously be on the pitch coaching sessions, but off the pitch I'll be supporting the players' analysis or player development, just really being there to support the girls.
"Being at the FA, I'm surrounded by some really talented people and coaches and have been learning from them.
"It’s just an absolute privilege, a pleasure to be back here within the group."
Head of women's football, Flo Allen, said: "We are delighted to be welcoming Megan back to the club as our assistant coach.
"Megan is an extremely talented coach and her knowledge of the game, passion for player development and experiences as a former player and captain of the club will be an invaluable asset to us.
"She is an exciting addition to our on-pitch coaching team and we are looking forward to seeing the impact she will inevitably have on our squad and wider programme."
