Ten Canaries called up for international action

Ten Norwich City players could feature for their nations across the September international break.

Danel Sinani, Andrew Omobamidele, Grant Hanley, Kenny McClean and Teemu Pukki are all involved in Nations League action for Luxembourg, Republic of Ireland, Scotland and Finland respectively.

Luxembourg are currently second in League C Group One on seven points and face league leaders Turkey on Thursday, September 22. They then play bottom of the table Lithuania at the end of the week.

Andrew Omobamidele will face Grant Hanley and Kenny McLean in a match that sees Republic of Ireland visit Hampden Park in Glasgow on Saturday, September 24. The Boys in Green then take on bottom of the group Armenia on Tuesday, September 27.

Scotland will first play top of League B Group One Ukraine, who are unbeaten so far, followed by their game against Republic of Ireland and then a second fixture against Ukraine will be held on Tuesday, September 27 at the Marszałek Piłsudski Stadium.

Teemu Pukki's Finland are placed third in League B Group Three, four points behind top spot. Their first fixture will be played at Helsinki Olympic Stadium against Romania, followed by a match against Montenegro at Podgorica City Stadium.
