The club can confirm that nominations are now open for the 2022/23 Michelle Dack Fan of the Season award.
The award is dedicated to the memory of Norwich City superfan, Michelle Dack, who attended 908 consecutive home and away games, before she sadly passed away at the age of 52.
Supporters of all ages can be nominated for the award and we encourage you all to get in touch with your stories of who you believe to be the best contender.
Once the nominations are closed, the club will shortlist three finalists for you to choose between for your Fan of the Season.
Voting closes on Monday, March 20 and the winner will be presented with the award at our Sky Bet Championship home fixture against Swansea City on Saturday, April 22.
This year we are asking fans to classify their nomination into one of three categories to create pre-determined guidelines and to make the entire process as fair as possible.
The categories and their definitions are below:
Community: A nominee who has been (or continues) making a difference to others in their local community. For example, this could be through volunteering, supporting other Norwich fans, charitable work or by having wider influence on their chosen community.
Commitment: A nominee who is a loyal follower of the club’s teams. They travel to home and/or away games to support either the Men’s, Women’s, Academy (or all). This could also include worldwide fans who support from a country outside the UK and work around the challenges of time zones to support the Canaries.
Conqueror: A nominee who has overcome adversity, obstacles or challenges that stood in their way and as a result have inspired others with their story.
Please note that no category is more preferable than any other or is given any additional weight.
