Norwich City have completed the signing of goalkeeper Vicente Reyes from Atlanta United.
Reyes, who will turn 20 in November, has signed a long-term deal at Carrow Road and will initially form part of the club's development and academy setup.
Born in South Carolina, the 19-year-old has been part of Atlanta United's academy since 2016 after joining the club at Under-13s level.
Reyes progressed through the academy and has played for the club's second team in the MLS Next Pro, as well as the USL Championship.
He was also named on the bench for Atlanta United's MLS fixture against Nashville. Internationally, the goalkeeper has played five times for Chile's Under-20s side, keeping two clean sheets.
Discussing his move to the Canaries and his development, Reyes said: “It feels amazing, it’s a dream come true to come to England.
“I spoke to the ‘keeper coach (Ed Wootten) and said I want to take it day-by-day, and don’t get ahead of myself.
“I can’t wait to get started here.”
The transfer is subject to international clearance and approval from the regulatory governing bodies.
