Norwich City have been nominated for the EFL Innovation Award in the Football League's 2023 Awards.
The Innovation Award is designed to recognise a club for a particularly outstanding and innovative piece of work.
Norwich City's nomination is in regard to the 'Not Just Another Kit Launch' campaign from the summer of 2022 where the proposed date for the new home kit reveal was instead replaced by a Stephen Fry-narrated message outlining a number of statistics related to suicide.
With the club having completed research on their season ticket holder database, and combining that with figures from Mind, they saw a correlation between the average season ticket holder demographic and those most vulnerable to suicide.
With raising awareness of support structures at the heart of the campaign, the video being watched by almost 1m people shows the importance of amplifying that message.
The club are also represented in the 'Fan of the Season' category with Diane Blazier nominated.
Diane is the founder of, and still running, the Norwich City Fans Social Club who regularly organise events to raise funds for the Community Sports Foundation.
The awards ceremony will take place at Grosvenor House Hotel on Sunday, April 23 with winners announced on the night.
