On Thursday, November 17, Greg Pillinger, head of operations and projects, and Amy Beven, engagement and delivery coordinator, attended an awards evening at Madingley Hall to collect our Defence Employer Recognition Scheme - Silver Award.

The awards evening was attended by employers from across East Anglia in recognition of the support they provide to members of the Armed Forces Community.

Zoe Webber, executive director, spoke of what receiving the Silver Award means to the club;

"We are proud to have received the Silver Award in recognition of the work we do across the club in supporting current and previous members of the armed forces. Through football we have a wide reaching platform, and we feel it is important to use this to recognise the work of our armed forces and remember those who have lost their lives in service of their country.

"Additionally, the skills, experience, and resilience that veterans and serving personnel bring into their roles at the club is highly valued, as is their commitment to bringing new ideas and ways of thinking into the business.

"We look forward to continuing to support armed forces personnel and their families and highlighting the contribution they bring both to the club and the wider community."
