Norwich City are proud to support Level Playing Field's Weeks of Action.
The campaign, which this year takes place from Saturday, February 26, to Sunday, March 13, is about celebrating disability access and inclusion at sports venues.
Never has the power of attending live sport been so prevalent as this season. Week in, week out, we see fans reuniting with each other while also reconnecting with their clubs and the local community after nearly a year and a half away.
This year’s campaign, as always, will focus on celebrating access and inclusion for disabled fans, but as a charity, Level Playing Fields will also be focusing on the return of live sport with supporters in the stands.
Last year’s campaign was mainly conducted online and was hugely successful despite the restrictions of the pandemic, and we are looking forward to building on this in 2022.
Norwich City have the following events planned:
Wednesday, March 2\

We have a stadium tour for 20 children, and five staff, from The Clare School – a specialist physical and sensory college in Norwich, which was rated as outstanding by Ofsted in 2020.
Thursday March 3
A quiz night and accessibility challenge, which will see a team from Norwich City take on their friends and rivals from Ipswich via Zoom from 7pm to 9pm.
Friday, March 4
A total of 10 disabled season ticket holders will visit The Nest – our community hub located in Horsford – from 3.30pm to 4.30pm for a tour of the facilities.
Saturday, March 5
Our fixture against Brentford will be dedicated to Level Playing Fields Weeks of Action. Pre-match there will be a Level Playing Field Q&A with Stephen Graham, our disability liaison officer, and Mike Heard of our matchday accessibility volunteers programme – a programme that assists disabled supporters from the Holiday Inn or car park to their seats and has been running for 10 years now. This will be held in the Joma Community Stand canteen.
For the match our volunteers will be wearing the Level Playing Field’s Weeks of Action T-shirts. This includes our soccer sight commentators, buggy driver Andy Beccles, our matchday accessibility volunteers, stadium tour guides and helpers in the Joma Community Stand.
