In support of the global mental health awareness week campaign, Norwich City have teamed up with Meantime Media and Norfolk & Waveney Wellbeing.
This year’s theme is anxiety, something that affects almost everybody at some point in their life.
We are not experts, so we have teamed up with Wellbeing Service to showcase a useful tip called the 5-4-3-2-1 method that can help you alleviate anxiety in the moment.
The Wellbeing service offer free support, funded by the NHS and we would encourage anyone who may be having a tough time with anxiety, stress, low mood, depression, or any other emotional issues to get in contact with them.
The team are friendly, qualified professionals and can work with you to help you make the necessary changes to improve your wellbeing and quality of life.
Contact the Wellbeing Service online at or via telephone at 0300 123 1503. As always, if you need immediate help call 999 or 111 and select option 2.
This activation comes as part of the next step of the club’s mental health support roadmap, which follows on from our a successful Not Just Another Kit Launch, World Mental Health Day and Time to Talk Day campaigns.
You can view our previous work and access our [Mental Health Resources](https://www.canaries.co.uk/club/mental-health-resources) page full with tips on nutrition, exercises, recipes and useful information on small changes you can make to improve your mental wellbeing.
The club’s Community Sports Foundation also has a number of initiatives in place to support mental health and wellbeing for people in Norfolk, including [Run For Me](https://www.communitysportsfoundation.org.uk/programmes/run-for-me/), [Team Talk](https://www.communitysportsfoundation.org.uk/programmes/team-talk/) and [Ahead of the Game](https://www.communitysportsfoundation.org.uk/programmes/ahead-of-the-game/) for young people.
