GoalPoacher_ and 1J Esports' very own Damie Augustyniak won Norwich City's ePremier League play-offs on Wednesday night, confirming their spots at the ePremier League grand finals in March.

GoalPoacher_ beat 1J Esports other professional player Lyricz in an intense final, and will represent the Canaries on PS5.

Lyricz came through the losers' bracket to set up a final with GoalPoacher_ and beat his opponent in the first game.

However, with GoalPoacher_ having come through the winners' bracket and therefore securing another chance at victory, he made no mistake by beating Lyricz 7-2 in the second game final.

Damie, who played alongside Lyricz live from Carrow Road, will represent the Canaries on XBOX after winning all of his matches en-route to the final, before beating JonesLiam9 3-1 in the final.

The pair will now represent Norwich City at the grand final against players from the 19 other Premier League clubs on the weekend of March 25-27, 2022.

Speaking to canaries.co.uk after the conclusion of the event, Damie said: "It feels great to qualify. It's been a pretty exhausting day. I didn't play that much, there was a lot of waiting involved, so it was hard to get focused.

"But we made it, there wasn't too much drama. I'm really happy.

"I can't wait for the finals and to see what we can do for Norwich, because I want to do a lot!"
