Norwich City saw off Birmingham City on a 3-1 scoreline at Carrow Road largely thanks to a double from Marcelino Núñez.
The Chilean's first-half double included a stunning volley from outside the penalty area, sending Carrow Road into raptures.
It was the goal from Christos Tzolis in the fourth minute of added time that allowed the support to relax and celebrate another home three points.
City's opening spell was a positive one, Kieran Dowell and Adam Idah both forcing John Ruddy into action.
An apparent handball by Emmanuel Longelo was also waved away before the resulting corner produced a penalty area scramble that ended with a Kenny McLean volley wide.
Idah then linked up with Núñez for the latter to have a strike from 25 yards but it wouldn't hit the target.
When the deadlock was finally broken, after 27 minutes, it was in spectacular fashion.
A corner-kick headed clear would only drop to Núñez who unleashed a thunderous volley from distance and Ruddy could only watch as it flew into the net.
And the Chilean international would double his and Norwich's tally nine minutes later when he latched on to the end of a McLean cross to slot home.
Idah would have a chance to make it 3-0 before the break but it was smartly save by Ruddy who made himself big in the goal.
The visitors weren't going to go quietly though, and struck first in the second half.
Maxime Colin found the bottom corner with an effort from just outside the penalty area.
As Norwich tried to regain that cushion, McLean was presented with an opportunity by Idah, but his clever touch past Ruddy was cleared off the line via the woodwork by Kevin Long.
The Canaries were then forced into holding on to whats they had with additional defensive reinforcements in the shape of Jacob Sørensen and Andrew Omobamidele needed to help see out the closing stages.
And it would get better for the men in yellow when substitute Christos Tzolis fired a magnificent third to seal the three points in additional time.
