Norwich City claimed a point at Bramall Lane, drawing 2-2 with Sheffield United in the Sky Bet Championship.
It couldn't have started any better for Norwich with Teemu Pukki pressuring Blades 'keeper Adam Davies and the Finn's block down spun into the net for an early lead.
The 2,700 travelling fans were singing his name again after quarter of an hour when a ball over the top dropped between Pukki and a defender where the fortunate bounce allowed him to tuck it in the corner.
From there, the hosts had a bit more intent about them.
Norwood had an effort from a free-kick but it was always off target before Josh Sargent had a great opportunity to make it 3-0 but Davies stood firm.
Rhian Brewster's header was glanced wide of the goal but it was a warning to City.
Angus Gunn twice denied United with impressive saves. First to turn Anel Ahmedhodzic's effort away from the near post before the last action of the half saw the stopper get down well to keep a deflected effort out of the bottom corner.
The second half began as a very open contest with the home side trying to chase a goal.
It offered a couple of chances on the counter for the Canaries but United managed to get a body in the way each time.
Sargent appeared to be tripped on the edge of the box with only the goalkeeper to beat but play was waved on.
The United pressure eventually told when Ben Osborn got loose at the back post to turn the ball home and get the home crowd on their feet.
They were further lifted when Oli McBurnie equalised in the 71st minute, latching onto a header back across the goal and diverting it in off the post.
Neither side created clear-cut chances from there until Liam Gibbs was taken down in the box and Josh Smith pointed to the spot.
Pukki stepped up looking for his third of the day but Davies denied him.
Gunn was forced to deny McBurnie an injury-time winner with his feet as both sides had to settle for a point.
