Norwich City had to settle for a point as they drew 1-1 at home to Reading in the Sky Bet Championship.
Adam Idah opened the scoring just before the hour mark, before an Andy Carroll penalty meant the visitors would claim a point.
Marcelino Núñez, Sam McCallum and Idah would all start, as Allan Russell and Steve Weaver took charge of their first game after being named as interim coaches.
The away side would register the game's first chance, with Angus Gunn saving well from Tom Ince's free-kick early on.
Norwich would see their first chance not long after. Gabriel Sara's through ball set Teemu Pukki through, but the Finn couldn't quite find Idah with his pass.
The Canaries came close to opening the scoring just after the 15-minute mark. Pukki couldn't quite get on the end of Idah's flick, before Josh Sargent's effort was cleared off the line, and Idah would eventually fire over.
As the game continued towards the break, Marcelino Núñez was next to try his luck for Norwich. His effort from range was collected by Joe Lumley, however.
In the game's final chance before half-time, Junior Hoilett's free-kick was wide of Angus Gunn's post.
Eight minutes into the second half, Norwich would take the lead. A couple of good headers lead to Pukki heading the ball into the path of Idah, who fired beyond Lumley for the opener.
Sargent had an opportunity to double the advantage, but saw his effort saved well by Lumley in the Reading goal.
Carroll almost diverted a Kenny McLean cross into his own net, but saw the ball loop wide for a corner.
The visitors would equalise from the penalty spot, as Carroll fired beyond Gunn from 12 yards.
There would be no winner for either side, as they shared the points.
