Ben Gibson says that Norwich City need to 'wake up' following their defeat to Watford in the Sky Bet Championship.
Despite Norwich controlling the majority of possession, Vakoun Bayo's late goal separated the sides at Carrow Road.
"We dominated for large parts of the game," Gibson said.
"I think possession was 60 per cent to 40. We've had a lot of shots without really testing their 'keeper. We've had good chances and we were missing that quality. Then they showed that quality in one moment when we make a mistake and we're punished for it."
Gibson also admitted that performances are not at the level the squad expect of themselves and he hopes to see a turn in fortune sooner rather than later.
It's now four games since City's last win in the league at Swansea.
"We've got to wake up. We've got to demand more from ourselves, we keep saying we've got good players," Gibson outlined.
"We've got one of the best squads in the league but we're not showing that. The manager obviously paid the price for that in the past but, as players, we need to sort this out ourselves. There'll be a new manager in when there's one in.
"We have to look at ourselves and we have to demand more because this isn't good enough. There's no shaking that, there's no hiding from that. We're dropping down the table. We can't keep saying we're playing well and not getting results, we've got to make it happen. "
