Norwich City have completed the signing of 18-year-old Oscar Schwartau from Brøndby IF.
The attacking midfielder has signed on a four-year deal with the club option of an extra year and will wear the number 29.
Schwartau became Brøndby's youngest ever player when he made his debut aged just 16 years and 61 days in July 2022. A month later, he would become their youngest ever goalscorer.
He played 46 times for the boys from Vestegnen, scoring six times, before now completing a move to Carrow Road.
Speaking at his signing announcement, Schwartau said: "It's a big moment for me. I'm very grateful for this opportunity. Coming to this big club, it's a nice place to be so I'm very happy.
"I'm very excited, it's going to be different moving to another country but I'm looking forward to it."
Norwich City sporting director Ben Knapper added: “Oscar is one of the most exciting talents in Danish football, and we’re delighted to be able to bring him here to Norwich City.
“Despite being just 18 years old, he already has some great experience in senior football, in both domestic and European competition. We are sure that in our environment, we can continue to develop him to realise his full potential.
"He’ll need time of course, but we’re looking forward to working with him and integrating him into our first-team group.”
