Przemysław Płacheta says he really missed the feeling of playing, as he continues his comeback from injury.
The 25-year-old featured in 60 minutes of Norwich's goalless draw away at Kaiserslautern, and has played a part in all of the Canaries' pre-season games this summer.
Płacheta missed a lot of last season due to injury, and says he is 'buzzing' to be back on the pitch.
"It was a pretty difficult game. We felt it in our legs as well, our last game was only three days ago. I thought we did well, but we need to create more chances, better chances," he said.
"We need to do better with the ball, be offensive. I think it's been a good pre-season so far, and this game we had more of the ball and less running, so hopefully we'll get better with the ball.
"I'm buzzing to be back out there again, even from the first game. I really missed this feeling, how it feels on the pitch and playing with the ball."
The Polish international is relishing the opportunity to play regularly again following his injury.
"It's an opportunity to enjoy football again. It's been hard for me, but I've come through this hard time, and now I'm concentrating on the football and the team.
"I'm looking forward to the season. With the boss, we'll do more football \[in training\], more games coming, and hopefully the football will be better and look better.
"We created chances in the last few games, and we didn't lose either game in Germany. We'll do some good work in the next few days."
