David Wagner spoke to the media at the Lotus Training Centre on Thursday ahead of the weekend's Sky Bet Championship clash with Coventry City.
Giving some injury updates, the head coach confirmed that Danny Batth and Jonny Rowe will miss out on Saturday's clash:
"Danny will be back in training next week and is working with the fitness department. Jonny Rowe will miss the Coventry match with a broken hand but will be back in training next week," he said.
"Shane Duffy is back in training and Sarge is also training and in contention for Saturday. Everyone else is available."
Looking ahead to the visit of Coventry City, who sit sixth in the Sky Bet Championship:
"From today, everything was focused on Coventry to get our head around how we defend and attack against them.
"Everybody apart from the two guys I mentioned (Rowe and Batth) is fit, healthy, and desperate to play in that game.
"They (Coventry City) are in the category of being a top team. Offensively they have good quality individuals, and I think they have been beaten only once in the last 13, which shows the freedom and confidence that they have. It will be a big test and we have to be on our best.
"At home we have a lot of confidence. It will be a super good test, and hopefully we can get a positive result.
"It will be a good football match tactically and technically as well, this is what I expect. It doesn't automatically mean a lot of goals. I expect a tough test but I have belief and trust in my group.
Wagner was full of praise for his opposite number on Saturday, former Canary Mark Robins:
"What he's done is remarkable. If you stay as a manager at a football club for so many years it speaks for itself. It means you have done a good job."
"They have done some smart business and financially have power they have used very well."
Wagner concluded by referring to the team's progression and form in recent weeks:
"We have made good progress and have a lot of important players back; hopefully we will continue to do this.
"We were not clinical against Leeds but only Fulham have scored more goals at Anfield than us.
"The game on Saturday feels big, but the truth is we have 17 games left which is massive.
"We are in and around the mix, just three points behind play-offs."
