Norwich City midfielder Kenny McLean spoke to the local media about the Sky Bet Championship season so far, as well as his adaptation to centre-back.
“Normally, it's a case of rest and recover," McLean said, when asked about the week in training.
"We look at things we can improve on, and mostly work hard on the training pitch.
“You don't need to have been here and done it to know that momentum is massive in this league. It's about getting points, and collect as many as we can to give us the best chance.
“I think when we went away to Hull, and got a big result there \[was a turning point\]. We relied on Gunny, which we know we can do. The teams about us, they're the games we need to win. There's plenty to improve on.
“We've got plenty of senior players, who have experienced tough moments in their career. It's all about coming through on the other side. It's not about digging anybody out, and you can see on the pitch that everyone is pulling in the right direction."
The Scottish international also spoke about adapting to a new position at centre-back.
He first made the move to defence in November and has moved between there and midfield in the months since.
"I had dropped back there in other games. If the manager asks me to do a job, I will do that and always have for this football club. I feel like I'm quite adaptable.
“It \[differences\] depends on the game. You get teams who come after you, where you don't have much time on the ball. You're a bit more comfortable on the ball in defence. Mainly, with the ball, we felt we could advance.
“I feel like I've been confident in my own performances. I feel good, and feel as fit as I ever have done and making an impact on the game. I just want to keep getting better."
