Ashley Barnes was disappointed following the 2-2 draw with QPR in the Sky Bet Championship.
Michael Frey's equaliser in the final 15 minutes claimed a point for the home side after the Canaries had earlier nudged in front having been 1-0 behind.
"Very frustrated you know, obviously not good from our point of view," Barnes said.
"Second half we showed the character and the willingness to come out and get the lead. We just couldn't hold on. We'll have to look at it, probably our mistakes led to their equaliser so two points dropped at the end of the day.
"If you want to be challenging for the play-off places, these are the grounds you have to come to and see it out. We'll look at it tomorrow and see what we can do."
Barnes quickly turned focus to the upcoming fixture against Watford on Tuesday evening.
"They've got good players in their squad and one of those where we had to be on top of our game. We'll dust ourselves down and go again and have a look in the analysis room and see where we can improve.
"It's a cup final every game until the end of the season now.
"Two home games now, the support was phenomenal and we wanted to give them something good but we have to now be ready for Tuesday and another cup final."
