Norwich City defender Danny Batth said it was a good collective performance from the side, as the Canaries claimed a 1-0 win over QPR in the Sky Bet Championship.
Ui-jo Hwang scored the only goal of the game as the Canaries recorded back-to-back league victories.
"We're really happy with the result," Batth says. "Obviously, it wasn't the prettiest game but it was a game that we needed to win and we wanted to show some real resilience.
"We always fancy ourselves to get a goal, it was a good collective performance, and I thought the lads off the bench added to the team's spirit. The fans really got behind us today, which was great.
"It's going to be a big week for us, and it's a good start for us with the clean sheet. We've all given (George) Longy a pat on the back. It gives us a good start to the week."
Since making the move to Carrow Road, Batth also spoke about being patient to make his mark on the team.
"Every time I'm out there on the pitch, I'll always give 100 per cent. I want to make sure I can stay in the team, and fight for my place.
"It's a great dressing room to come into, there's a lot of experienced players and a great blend of youth and enthusiasm, it's been a nice challenge to come in and compete for a place."
The Canaries are back in action on Tuesday night, travelling away to Watford, and Batth says he is looking forward to the challenge.
"After a good result, you want to get straight back out there. You'll want to give yourself the best chance to recover, we'll go to Watford and give it everything we've got."
