Norwich City head coach Philippe Clement described his side's 1-1 draw with Portsmouth on Friday afternoon as frustrating and two points lost.
"It's a game that we should normally win, where you are the better team but as long as only there is only one goal difference, something can always fall out of the sky.
"It's literally out of the sky today; the danger was with free-kicks, corners, long balls; not in football actions.
"We had one shot on target against us today and it's a goal, so that's frustrating to lose two points like that, but we know in this league you have a lot of teams who fight for their lives and Portsmouth are in that situation.
"I think everybody can be really happy that we are out of that situation.
"It's difficult to play the sexy football that the fans love because almost every action you make is a foul and it's a lot of long balls and fights from their side, so that makes it difficult to make it an attractive footballing game, but that's not important as it's about winning points."
Pelle Mattsson scored his second goal in as many games for Norwich City with today's first-half strike.
"We've been working with the whole squad on (scoring more), at the beginning everybody talked about who was going to score the goals when our striker was out and I told them I wanted everybody to.
"I want to create a team where the danger comes from everywhere, everybody can score goals; the wingers, the midfielders, the full-backs and the centre-halves on set-pieces.
"That's been going on over the last few months, so it's not a surprise but Pelle has been working hard on that part of his game as well."
City travel to the capital to face Millwall on Monday lunchtime for the next Sky Bet Championship outing.
"I need to see how everybody comes back, we could not play five internationals today, one came back injured and the four others played 48 hours ago, so they were not fresh to play more than they did today.
"Maybe we had to change too much today in the squad to be really good although the players who played all did their best and they gave it everything and of course if we win 1-0 today everybody would have a different feeling.
"These are interesting weeks for me to see who will be part of the squad for next season where we have high targets, so I expect a lot from all of the squad, to keep fighting more and showing the winning mentality."
On the fans and a sold out Carrow Road, Clement said: "The supporters are really behind us, staying after the game even when we don't win.
"I'm really happy that the atmosphere between the players and fans is totally back and of course we want to give them better football games."
