Norwich City head coach Philippe Clement described his side's 1-0 victory away to Charlton Athletic on Saturday afternoon as massive.
"It's a massive win, because it's a hard place to come. They're in good form. They won against Middlesbrough, against Birmingham. They get points against Southampton the last few weeks, so it's a hard place to come to win. A very physical team.
"They didn't have a midweek game, so they had all week to prepare this game, we only had a few days. We came back Thursday morning around 3 o'clock at the training ground after our Southampton trip. So there was not much time to recover and we have a lot of injuries.
"I think the team did a brilliant job today, tactically but also physically and mentally to stand up against the power of Charlton and to be the best team on the ball. The only thing we missed today is to score a second goal.
"The chances and the opportunities were there, but just nothing. And then until the last seconds, it stays dangerous because every ball they have, even with the throw-ins, they put in the box and it's duels, duels, duelss. But the team defended that brilliantly with much less size than the opponent today. So it's about braveness."
The Canaries were backed at The Valley by over 3,000 travelling Norwich fans, something that the head coach says helped his side claim all three points. Clement also spoke about the upcoming international period.
"It's amazing, the atmosphere from before kick-off already. There's a big connection with the fans now. All the players are enjoying the songs, even me. Although we can have better songs than that one that they're using. But no, there's a really, really big connection with the fans and the players now, and it gives us a lot of energy.
"I hope they come back in good shape. We have already a game on Friday, so some of them probably will not be able even to train before that game. With the rest, we're going to work hard. They will have also a few days off, but what they deserve. And we need to be ready for this final part of the season, this last seven games or more. We will see."
