Norwich City Women head coach Andy Cook was full of praise for his side's triumphant display against Aylsham Women, highlighting the debuts he was able to give three players.
"I'm delighted with that performance, there were a lot of good minutes for people who haven't had a lot of time on the pitch recently, but everyone played really well," Cook said.
"I was also delighted to get the three girls; Poppy Francis, Drew Wilson and Amber Locker; their debuts.
"They've all been fantastic in training with us, so I am really pleased for them.
"Amber will be disappointed conceding that goal, but she hasn't played all season, apart from a few games with her dual-registered team Needham Town, but playing for us is a different level.
"She will be frustrated with the goal that went in but that comes off the back of some fantastic football from her in training. She progressed in the game well, moved the ball well, she switched it when we needed it, so she had a good game.
"I thought Poppy and Drew were excellent when they came on, they really raised the intensity of what we wanted in possession.
"Poppy's passing was fantastic and so was Drew's positioning and moving the ball onwards."
Cook was also pleased to see the reaction of his team after falling behind early in the game.
City were soon able to turn that deficit into a comfortable cushion.
"After initially going behind, Toddy (Megan Todd) brought everyone in and the message from them was keep the ball moving and keep it nice and calm and relaxed.
"It was a breakaway goal, sometimes that happens and we've just got to make sure that we are tidy in possession and when I've made as many changes as I have, sometimes you get that inconsistency from players.
"I probably expect Amber to play in this competition, so she has that confidence and we have full trust in her playing.
"The run that we're on at the moment is a great time to change things around, minutes and positions, so I am really pleased for everyone.
"This is where is starts to matter now, once we get into February, March and we start to play the teams in and around us in that top three or four.
"We have to make sure that we are focused on us and the mantra so far this year has been to focus on the present to be ready for the next thing.
"We kept working today, we scored six and probably could have had another five if there 'keeper wasn't so fantastic today, so we'll move on now and get ready for the next run of games, starting with Dulwich."
