Andy Cook was full of praise for his players after progressing to the next round of the Adobe Women's FA Cup, with a hat-trick for Natasha Snelling supported by goals from Millie Daviss and Holly Kennard.
However, Cook was keen to highlight the overall achievement of the win, rather than just goalscorers.
"The three standout moments and individuals for me today were Issy Moore, having Eloise Morran back in the team and when we brought on Sienna (Booty), when we brought on those three on we controlled the game," he said.
"We've been wanting to get Issy in the middle of the park all season and today was a great opportunity for it and I thought she controlled the game brilliantly. That's the best team performance we've had all season.
"We didn't change the game plan too much today, we really wanted to step it up even more and be proactive in our pressure and what we wanted off the ball and also in possession as well.
"We told Sarah Quantrill to be a bit quicker today, for her to be a little bit higher, we wanted the defensive line to work the ball in good areas and try and get us out into wide areas, which we did.
"Millie and Lauren Tomlinson were also brilliant, their deliveries today were fantastic, they both know that they can keep improving, but the stuff we've been working on as individuals with those two is great."
The Canaries were forced to make an early substitution in the first half, after Ellie Smith picked up a knock.
"We don't know much about Ellie yet, she's often getting kicked with the way that she plays and the quality she is, but we'll have to see how it is in the week. We made the decision to take her off and Liv Cook was fantastic when she came on, really delighted for her to get those minutes.
"The dream scenario for the next round would be anything at home, I love playing here at The Nest, the fans have been fantastic and when the guys come down with the drum it's great. It doesn't really matter who we play it's always a good competition to be in.
"We want to stay in it as long as possible, we've got our targets and what we want to achieve with it."
City are next at home in round two of the FAWNL Plate, facing Division One South East opposition Actonians.
"It will be the first time I've played them, so for me it will be good to see how the players work and we just want to make sure we're focused on what we're doing and we want to make sure we progress in the next round of the cup.
"For me, the cup games are brilliant, win or lose you have to go for it if you want to progress, it really suits my mindset and the way I want to work with players."
